Telunas beach resort is located in a secluded cove in the beautiful Indonesian Riau islands, just 2.5 hours from Singapore by boat. Surrounded by jungle and sea, all chalets and rooms were inspired by local Melayu architecture and built entirely over water. Feel a world away from the schedules, traffic and noise of hectic city life as you immerse yourself in this timelessly simple and natural retreat.

Getting there:

Meet at 10am at Harborfront Center Ferry Terminal (Singapore)
Board 11.10am ferry to Sekupang Ferry Terminal, Batam (50mins)
Transfer to Telunas Beach Resort via private longtail boat (1.5hrs)
Welcome drinks and lunch will be served upon arrival

Is there Wifi?
No. Telunas Resorts intentionally does not offer Wi-Fi to offer a peaceful refuge from the never-ending ringing, notifications and status updates that can be an assault on our senses.
If you need to be remain connected online, you may purchase Telkomsel Simpati SIM cards (at Sekupang International Ferry Terminal or Telunas Resorts) or use your own personal phone internet plans as needed.

Is there air-conditioning?
Rooms and Chalets are built over the sea to utilize the timeless natural cooling of over-water construction – at night you can hear the gentle ripple of waves beneath your room.

Dietary Concerns
Telunas is able to accommodate various dietary restrictions, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and other special diets. The kitchen also meets all halal requirements.  Please mention your dietary needs in your application.

Do I need a visa?
Individuals with passports from 169 countries can enter Indonesia at Sekupang International Terminal and Batam Center Terminal for 30 days without a Visa. This includes guests from Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, UK, the United States, and Vietnam.
If you do need a Visa, you can obtain a Visa On Arrival (VOA) at Sekupang Ferry Terminal. It is valid for a maximum stay of 30 days. Please refer to this Indonesia Ministry of Tourism website for the list of countries that can apply for VOA in Indonesia.
You will need to present the following at the port of entry:
Original valid passport for more than 6 months from the date of arrival in Indonesia
An exit ferry ticket or on-going ticket
A fee of $15 USD for 7 days or $35 USD for 30 days.

Is there a time difference?
Yes, the Riau islands are one hour behind Singapore time.
